Just what are organics anyway? It's a word that's been thrown around more and more often, but we have to wonder if people know what it really means.

They are products, or ingredients in products, that are free from chemicals. Things such as pesticides, hormones and fertilizers aren't used in the growing of, or making of the products. They are "clean" throughout the process, from planting through to production.

We want to avoid the use of engineered and modified products in our home. We're attempting to use more green, organic, natural items for cleaning, cooking and just living life day to day. By doing this, we hope to cut the risks that are more and more often connected with treated substances.

Keep in mind that the recipes you find on this site don't have to be made using organic ingredients. If you don't have them, can't find them, or think that they're just too darn expensive, you can just use regular, non-organic ingredients instead.
